About Me
I have worked on multiple award-winning sites, balanced complex data with unique task flows for both nonprofits and Fortune 100 clients, and turned complicated research results into actionable insights.
I'm an advocate for accessible design and audience-centered solutions, and enjoy the challenge of weaving the unique needs of each project into a seamless result. I am passionate about understanding the audience experience, and balancing those insights with any business needs. I strive to understand organizations before proposing solutions, and design systems that can be easily maintained as well as scaling as needed.
Independent client work happens under Braiding Snow Design Studio, offering thoughtful product design, UX/UI, and strategy consulting for mission-driven organizations focused on education, community, and the environment. My focus is making your organization's mission more visible and more effective. If you're considering a project, I'd love to hear about it.
On a more personal note: I'm especially interested in the broader arenas of environmental and humanitarian innovation—especially adaptive technologies and prosthetic improvements. I have a passion for biomimicry: adapting nature's designs, honed over eons (serious iteration) into sustainable and effective solutions.
